Last week was my first week back doing intense cardio and lifting workouts, as well as monitoring my eating. It was a semi successful week, the scale definitely did not reflect it but I’m feeling better and healthier. Kristin’s lifting workouts have definitely motivated me in the gym and also give my lifting some sort of purpose. She also helped me jump start my workout routine again. Now that I have a routine that I know I have to do I’m more motivated to make it to the gym and make sure I’m getting in quality reps and I”m doing the exercises correctly. I can’t wait to see what my results look like at the end of the 4 week period! If you need helping knowing what exercises to do, want a custom workout or eating program, or want actually face to face training definitely check out Kristin’s website. She has a lot of knowledge of both exercises as well as nutrition guidelines and will help you reach whatever goal you want to set for yourself! This is my before and after photo when I was working out with Kristin at lifetime gym.
I also started to really track everything on WeightWatchers, and when I say everything I mean EVERYTHING. Including all 53 points I ate on Saturday… Very bad day, Buffalo Wild Wings is not very WW friendly. But I’m moving on and trying to be better this week, which of course is going to be hard considering we are celebrating Jason’s birthday wednesday and then Thanksgiving on Thursday. Today was a good day though, stayed on point and ate really well, egg sandwich for breakfast, salad for lunch, and then banging good shrimp and fried rice from Skinnytaste. If you have ever had the bang bang shrimp from Bonefish grill, Skinnygirl’s is a great compromise. Instead of the heavy breaded shrimp, the shrimp are lightly pan seared with cornstarch and olive oil. She recreates the sauce using light mayo, sweet chili sauce, and Sriracha. It’s definitely delicious, and quick and easy to make!
